Should I wait?...

Hi Guys,

A soon to be new commodore SSV Redline owner, and my first post!

Well after many weeks of test driving numerous vehicles I have come to my decision (and with the minister of finance's approval), to buy the VF2 Redline, where I wanted to get back into a V8, so this was an easy choice.

The only problem I have is that I don't need the car until late October as this is when my current vehicle get's handed back. After negotiating on the final specifications and price I placed my order with the dealership and I also asked if they knew when the "2017 update" will be released, which I figured to be around September/October, which historically has been the case for past commodore updates (correct me if I'm wrong?), but they denied any knowledge - BUT - they did say they will try to provide me with an October build date vehicle, which could put it into the MY 2017 category. Reading some of the posts on here it seems that most people are waiting for somewhere between 2-4 months on delivery, so I'm not sure how the dealer can say he can have my one ready in 1 month? anyway...

Should I wait (which I can) for the extra month and guarantee a 2017 build, or do you think the upgrades will be only minor and not worth the hassle?...

Thanks guys.
