VS 304 not starting.

Hey all.
I was getting in to the spirit of Bathurst with a few morning beers and thought I'd give my VS HSV ute a kick. It ran for 5 seconds and then died.
It turns over has new fuel and my volt stick is detecting spark through the leads. It hasn't been run in a while, first time it's ever let me down.
I have a VR Senator with the same motor that runs. Just wondering where I should start pinching parts to test?
