[Ecotec] Starter motor

Hey Guys

I have a 99 vs ute column that i will be converting to getrag manual very soon i have most of the bits but not the starter motor can i use the one from the auto or does the getrag have a different starter.

also if i have a front loom from the manual ute will i need the plug to bridge park/neutral or will the loom suffice.
