Hi guys not sure if this is the right section but I figure it's general discussion. I've not only just bought my first Holden. I've bought my first V8. Oh I'm also 31yo (late bloomer). So I bought a 2009 SSV ute. I love it!!! Early teens I did the 180sx, the skyline, the datto 1600. Then had a Valiant VF hardtop for a little while. Matured a bit bought a VW diesel golf. But always wanted a VE SSV ute. Now before u all go crazy hear me out. Never owned a ford or a Holden. If I had to side with one I'd say I was a ford man. However, I always liked the Series 1 VE SSV utes. There something about them. So finally bit the bullet and bought one. I've had it for 4 weeks as I said I love this ute. Not only the ute I've recently seen myself googling various other holdens, quite partial to a VR statesmen. I'm born again, I'm converted, I'm Holden. I'm in Melbourne and my question is where does one go to get more involved in the Holden scene so to speak. In the Victorian Chapter thread there is no threads. Is there regular meets of like minded people?
