Last week I took my 2002 VY Commodore (Berlina) in for a service. I was given a list of about 7 different things leaking , one severely.
When I look under the hood I cant see a single leak, over the span of a year there have been a few drops on the driveway under the engine.
I'm curious wether id actually be able to see the leaks myself if they are actually leaking?
Is it possible the place I got the car serviced lied about the leaks to get more work?
Also, curious if anyone on here would be willing to take a look at it for $, rather than a dodgy mechanic?
A long shot, but thought its worth asking.
List-
-Severe rocker cover oil leak
- rear main oil seal leak
-Pionon seal leaking - transmission side
- right rear shock absorber leaking
- power steering pump leaking
- top hose leaking coolant past clamp - engine side
- lower intake manifold leaking
Right engine mount severely split/sagging
Brake fluid requires replacement- high moisture content
Transmission fluid discoloured. Replacement/ flush required.
Thanks guys!
