hi guys, this is my first time posting in a group like this.
i have a hilux 4wd with a VR v6 commoy motor in it, i have owned now for about 3 yrs, never had a problem with it untill last 12months or so, was starting to run very rich and over heating, got the over heating problems sorted out, but still had the running rich problem, got to the point it was running rough and then started stalling on me (auto trans), i knew the motor was on its way out so i sourced out a fresh motor (vn v6 exactly same motor) only had 115,000kms on the clock, rebuilt from block up and got it done professionally... any ways i got the new motor in and still have the stalling problems, have changed the old CAS to a brand new 1 today and still have the same problems, have changed the DFI module with several others and still no difference, i have changed coolant temp sensors, oil pressure switch, oxygen temp sensor (at back of return side fuel rail) have changed throttle body and all sensors, have replaced a few sensor connectors, have replaced all spark plugs and spark plug leads, made sure i am getting fuel in and out of the fuel rail with pressure.
when it runs it runs really well, i go to drive it and it stalls when the angle of the car changes.
this is really getting to my head and making me want to just give up, i have injector pulse and all that but when it stalls and struggles to start i have no injector pulse. please help me with anything u can think of.
P.S. i dont even know if i can plug a diagnostics to the darn thing, due to the guys that done the conversion had chopped the wire harness and spliced wires to god knows where.
as i said it ran great with no problem for a few years, then all this happened so i changed motor in hopes of all problems go away, but they havent. anything will help me and if i have done it i will reply and let u know ;) thanks in advance...
