Changing clock spring - will a VT fit a VX?

I'm having issues with the horn not working on my VX and I believe it's the clock spring. I've tested the horn and relay in the bonnet sucessfully, however pressing the horn pad no matter how hard doesn't work. I've measured voltage across the fuse under the steering wheel and only get 0.21 volts when it's pressed - 0v when it isn't. That leads me to believe the clock spring is at fault. I get the airbag light for 2-3 seconds on ignition and an aftermarket radio prevents me from testing the audio controls.

I'm wrecking a VT and was wondering if the clockspring will be compatible. It's a '99 wagon, and the VX is a 2001 sedan. The issue is that the VT doesn't have audio controls whereas the VX does.
