Hay anyone give me a idea or help
so for a few months now my transmission has been having trouble with gears ect feels like its unsure when it needs to change gear and when it does not and had it booked in next week to get serviced and sorted out just though i would mention this in case it could be part of the problem.
Anyway i was drving my VX today home and i started to hear a rattle coming from the car when acceleration and driving the car. It started to get louder and louder and then the whole car just stalled and would not start.
anyway after trying to for 5 mins and pumping the accelerator while trying to start it it finally started drove for 5 mins while the rattle was getting even louder and stalled again.
I could not leave it where it stalled so had to start it again got it going same way drove it around the corner to a safe place just because it stalled just before i was about to stop ( i noticed it would stall almost straight away if there was no acceleration from me and the cars revs lowed but would also stall when acceleration to but would almost always do it when i was not accelerating )
Ive had to leave it for the night but before i did i tried to start it one last time and it started fine didnt have to pump the accelerator just started normal first time turn of the key. I didnt drive it to see if there was any rattle noise but it did start so im unsure but rules out the fuel pump but fuel pump would not explain what the rattle was anyway
anyone have any ideas any clue ?
