Reversed into now new bonnet wont lock down

Hey guys,

I was reversed into the other day but something while I was at work and the bonnet was crumpled when I got to it,
I replaced the bonnet with a second hand one but now the new bonnet and the bottom bit it locks into won't align and the lock wont enter straight,
it must mean something was pushed back when I was reversed into.

Is there any way to pull the bottom lock bar out so the bonnet will lock into it ?
I would use a crow bar but i would destroy the radiator while attempting it haha
