Pcv issues, need help

I have a 2008 ve commodore omega, it wasnt runing, got a mechanic to look at it, he said it was the airflow sensor, so ive replaced that and its still not idling properly, then i noticed a random air leaking noise, i found my pcs lines were cracked and leaking air, so ive replaced them, now it wont run unless i rev the engine, so i took the pcv out and cleaned it in petrol but the car still wont run, i can blow through the pcv i have read that your not suppoes to be able to do that,
Does anyone know whats wrong or have any idea?
