side view mirrors and blind spots

I have a vy s2 executive, I am trying to adjust the mirrors to weed out the blind spots, however the mirrors only pull outso far and won't go beyond a certain point. They certainly don't go out enough to cover the blind spot as seen in this video

Are there generic mirrors i could buy for cheap that would be able to do this? Also how much am i looking at to get mirrors? And no i dont want blind spot mirrors, they are crap
